Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what information DocPik handles and why. It covers both of its hosts: the site with the guides and tool pages (docpik.com) and the document editors (app.docpik.com). The site is run by kim. We have no user accounts.
What you type or open on interactive pages
The document editors run in your web browser. Text you type and files you open are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers. The editors offer a "Keep my documents on this device" option; only when you tick it is your input saved in your browser's local storage, and unticking it deletes it.
With the option ticked, the browser keeps: your documents (including any logo image you added), your business details, the last number used for each document type, which document of each type was open last, when you last backed up, and your currency and paper size. Backup files (.json) that you download contain your documents and are not encrypted, so store them like any other business file.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and keeps short-lived logs for security and reliability. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which delivers the pages from its global network; its privacy policy at cloudflare.com explains how it handles this data.
Advertising and cookies
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can change your consent choice at any time with "Privacy and cookie settings" in the footer.
Consent
When advertising or analytics is enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising or analytics cookies are used. Where a law such as the GDPR requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable site for the hosting logs. Everywhere else you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact: support@sqztop.com.
