What's new
Changes you can notice in the tools and on the pages, newest first. Small fixes are grouped; behind-the-scenes work is left out. If something here does not match what you see, please tell us.
- Every tool page now has its editor right on the page: fill in the document under the title, or open it as a full page.
- Pages show the date their text last changed, and this “What’s new” page lists notable changes.
- Clearer titles and introductions on the purchase order, payment receipt, return authorization (RMA) and goods received note (GRN) pages.
- About and Contact name who runs the site; the contact address is now contact@docpik.com.
- The home page, the guides section and About explain more: which document you need, a worked example, and how the pages are made.
- The home page and the section pages no longer show ads; tool pages and guides show them only below a long article.
- DocPik opened at docpik.com, with an English privacy policy and terms of use.
- A new look for the site and the editors.
- After a purchase order is amended, the next goods received note follows the updated order.
- Choosing another saved customer on a duplicated invoice offers to replace the old customer’s address and email.
- A new invoice for a returning customer takes that customer’s own tax rate.
- An invoice made from a timesheet keeps the VAT rate and the saved customer details.
- A second packing slip from the same purchase order continues where the first one stopped.
- If saving to this device fails, what you typed stays in the editor.
- The browser’s Back button after a conversion returns to the original document.
- Pick list, return authorization (RMA), statement of account and cash count tools.
- Payment receipt, goods received note, timesheet, change order, inventory count and expense report tools.
- The first tools: estimate, work order, invoice, purchase order and packing slip, with My documents.
